Description:Photograph by Kate Mellor (born 1951).

This photograph was one of a number commissioned by Staffordshire Arts and Museum Service in 2002 as part of the 'Hidden Estates' public art project, based around Staffordshire's country estates. Kate Mellor's photographs, many taken with a pinhole camera, are inspired by written accounts of vistors to the Enville estate in the 18th and 19th centuries found in Enville Hall's archive.

The chapel lies in Priests Wood on the Enville estate. It is dedicated to, and was probably designed by William Shenstone who died in 1763. It was built in about 1750-60.
