Description:This fire bomb shield was designed to be used by Auxiliary Fire Service firefighters during incendiary bomb attacks in the Second World War. This example came from Cheslyn Hay.
This shield was made from a rectangular curved galvanised metal sheet, by E. Griffiths Ltd., Birmingham. A small rectangular peep hole can be seen at the top with a wire mesh covering.
