Description:Square panel of embroidery mounted in a square of machine made lace.
Lace embroidered with a border of zig zag chain stitch in pink and green. Embroidered central panel of yellow and pink flowers and leaves, stems embroidered in brown silk using stem stitch, petals embroidered using long and short stitch and couched in gold thread. Whole embroidered on to pale beige background. Beads used as centers for flowers. Border around panel in gold silk using long and short stitch couched in gold thread. White floral motifs in border. Reverse of mat backed with cream silk
