Description:Square panel of embroidery mounted in square of machine made lace. Lace embroidered with a border of zig zag chain stitch in green. Embroidered central panel of pink and blue blossoms on gold and yellow stems. Long and short stitch used. Embroidered on to pale beige background. Border of gold silk long and short stitch embroidery with stylised flowers. Edge of border and blossom’s couched in gold thread. Reverse of mat backed with ivory silk.
