Description:Embroidered dessert mat. Square panel of embroidery mounted in a square of machine made lace. Lace embroidered with criss cross pattern in gold silk with green silk flowers. Embroidered central panel of single blue and white flower with yellow and green center and pink stamens surrounded by stem and leaves. Long and short stitch used. Petals couched in gold thread, stems with gold couching detail. Border surrounds panel-long and short stitch in gold and white with dark green buttonhole stitch detail, couched with gold thread. Reverse of mat backed with cream silk.
