Description:Embroidered dessert mat. Square panel of embroidery mounted in a square of machine made lace. Lace embroidered with a criss-cross pattern in gold silk with green silk flowers. Embroidered central panel of single pink and white flower with pink and green center and green stamens surrounded by stem and leaves, long and short stitch used. Petals couched in gold thread, stems with couching detail, embroidered on to background of dusky pink. Border surrounds panel-long and short stitch detail, couched with gold thread. Reverse of mat backed with cream silk
