Description:Square panel of embroidery mounted in square of machine made lace. Lace embroidered with criss cross pattern in gold silk with green silk flowers. Embroidered central panel single pink white and gold flower with intermingling stem and leaves. Long and short stitch used with gold couching on stem. Embroidered on to pale green background. Border surrounds panel. Long and short stitch in gold and white, long and short stitch and dark green button hole stitch, couched with gold thread. Reverse of mat backed with cream silk.
