Description:'Pillar at Wolverhampton.' [?East] view of an Anglo-Saxon cross shaft standing on a pile of rubble. The cap is cracked, and the pillar has five bands of decoration. It probably dates from the mid 9th century and is 14 feet high. Anonymous, [?T. Carter].
