Description:This group portrait shows Italian liaison officers from the Aeronautica Militare (Italian Air Force) and their RAF counterparts, based at No.16 MU RAF Stafford.

Standing on the right-hand end is Angelo Cusumano, an Italian liaison officer who played a key role in the creation of the Fauld Explosion memorial at Hanbury. The memorial stone itself was donated from Italy through the the Italian Air Force Supply Depot at Novara, which was twinned with RAF Stafford. Signor Cusumano was involved in the organization of the unveiling ceremony and other official events at RAF Stafford.
