Description:Thompson and Southwick works yard, with two Henry Hawker lorries. In the centre is 'Bill' William Thomkinson, the Fitting shop foreman. The lorries belonged to Henry Hawker (Burton) Ltd, Transport Contractors, Tuttle Hill, Nuneaton. Each war time lorry carries a pair of huge Pit mine head wheels made by Thompson and Southwick.
