Description:A view of the cellar at Chas. E. Morgan, Wine and Spirits Merchant, of 57, Greengate Street, Stafford, which was established in 1780. They ceased trading in 1967. Currently (2026), the premises are occupied by Waterstones. This picture shows decanting (filtering) wine into a bottle in the cellar underneath the shop. In the background crates of Bass beer, a box of Martini sweet vermouth and racks of wine are visible.
