Description:This photograph taken from the pedestrian footbridge between Newport Road and Mill Bank over the River Sow looks towards the Moat House access bridge and shows the rear of Newport Road Garage on the right. Two young boys can be seen in the foreground.

The garage building was a Peugeot car sales and garage for many years. Since around 2023 it has been re-purposed by NSCG (Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group) Stafford College as a student training unit for construction plant vehicles and equipment.
