Description:This view shows the demolition of Stafford’s Market Hall along with the overhead car park and part of the Guildhall Shopping Centre. On the left is the tower of the Wesleyan Methodist Chapel in Chapel Street. In the centre the rear of the former Noah's Ark Inn can be seen, this was later known as The Surgery Bar, which subsequently closed. It was reported in the Staffordshire Newsletter that the Market permanently closed on 12 October 2024. During 2025 part of the adjacent Guildhall Shopping Centre, all the Market Hall and the overhead car park were demolished to make way for a major redevelopment of the area.
