Description:Church Farm Barn, Bednall, photographed in 1964. In the early 1990s the barn was converted into a private residence.
In the background roofs of houses in the village can be seen and rising above the barn is the spire of All Saints Church, which was built by local Architect Henry Ward in 1846 at a cost of £1,100. It was dedicated on 10th August 1846 by the Bishop of Lichfield. The bell tower and spire were not added until 1873, built at the expense of Mrs Mary Heath of Bednall Hall, widow of James Glover Heath.
