The statue of Ian Fraser 'Lemmy' Kilmister (1945-2015) by Stoke-on-Trent born sculptor Andy Edwards was unveiled on Market Place, Burslem on 9 May 2025. Burslem-born Lemmy was bass player and vocalist with the band Hawkwind between 1971 and 1975 and left them to form Motörhead, the band he is most famous for.
