Description:The Heywoods Estate Agents were the managers for the Smithfield Cattle Market. They have been estate agents to Staffordshire and South Cheshire for more than a century. The family in Newcastle-under-Lyme took part in and ran livestock auctions in the 1930's. In the background is the Fine Fare Supermarket. There is still a Heywoods Estate Agents on this site at the time of writing (May 2024).
