Description:The Church of the Holy Angels at Hoar Cross viewed from the deer park of Hoar Cross Hall. The gates are believed to have been made by Robert Bakewell (1682-1752) the Derby ironsmith. They predate the hall by some 170 years and so must have had an earlier life elsewhere. The gates and their pillars are Grade II* listed. The ha-ha can be seen here in front of the wall.
