Description:The Queens public house was constructed between 1832 and 1878. At the time of this photograph, it was described as having a front central double door with stone step and gothic arched light, a stone architrave and a gothic stone arch. There was a large side yard with new boundary walls and access from Waterloo Road. There was also a beer garden behind modern garages and sheds at the rear of the yard.

In later years The Queens closed, and the building is currently (2026) occupied by an Air Travel business and a Fast Food Takeaway restaurant.
