Description:View of the Weston village war memorial, commemorating the men of Weston who fell in the two world wars. The inscription visible on this side of the memorial records its unveiling on May 24, 1923 by General Walter Norris Congreve of Chartley Castle. Congreve, who lost a hand during World War 1, is commemorated by a plaque in Stowe-by-Chartley church.
