Description:Originally a Wesleyan Chapel dating from 1839, the building was extended forward and a new brick frontage (as seen) was added in 1870. In 1877, a rear extension was added. It became a social annexe to the modern St Paul's Methodist and United Reform Church which was built on the opposite side of the street in 1967. It has since had an entrance extension added along the left side and still serves as St Paul's Church Hall today (2026). The partially seen building to the left has since been demolished. The long building roofline in the background belongs to the Plaza Cinema on Horsefair, dating from 1936 and originally called 'The Picture House'. It closed in 1996 and is now The Plaza, a Wetherspoon's Public House.
