Description:Eric Jones is pictured on the left of the front row along with RAF service personnel at the end of their final training course at Cosford. If you recognise anyone else in this view please contact us. Norman Eric Jones was known as Eric Jones. Eric was from Chadsmoor and during World War Two he served in the RAF. After final training at Cosford in 1941 he was sent via Spain, South Africa and the Red Sea to be based in Egypt. By 1944 Eric had moved to Italy and was in Naples from where he later returned to the UK. Before being demobbed Eric trained in building trade skills and later he was employed by the English Electric Co., Ltd at Stafford where he worked in the Transformer Division until he retired around 1983.
