Description:An interior view of St.James' church, looking towards the chancel. Fradswell church has a chancel dated to around 1200 and a west tower of brick built in 1764. The nave has older features but was remodelled in 1764 and again in 1852 when the south aisle was built. This is one of a series of watercolours of all the churches in Lichfield Diocese in Staffordshire, painted by Miss Theodosia Hinckes and Mrs Rebecca Moore (wife of the Archdeacon of Stafford for Lichfield Cathedral) for Lichfield Cathedral between 1857 and 1861.
