Description:Jug by Myott, Son & Co. (Ltd.) of the Alexander Potteries, Cobridge. Founded in 1898 by Ashley Myott in Wolfe Street, Stoke on Trent. The company later took over Brownfield's works on Arthur Street (later Crane Street), Cobridge which were expanded and renamed the Alexander Potteries. In 1969 the company was bought by Interpace, an American Company. The Churchill Group took over the Myott brand in 2000. the Crane Street works were demolished shortly afterwards.
