Description:Oil Painting by Stafford born artist John Prescott Knight (1803-1881). A portrait of the artist's eldest son, Albert Stanley Knight Prescott (1832-1917). He was a military medical officer who served with the Royal Artillery and served in the China campaign of 1860. This picture was painted shortly after his return from China and exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1862. He died in Gravesend in 1917.
