Description:The Malt Shovel is pictured here, with Halls Butchers Shop just visible on the far right. On Wednesdays the Malt Shovel was used for auctions of furniture etc., which was organised by Selwyn Smith.

The Malt Shovel was demolished and in 2003 the shop Dixons occupied the site.
