Description:On the outbreak of war in August 1914, the 1/6th South Staffords, the T.A. Battalion for the Wolverhampton area, was mobilised and moved with the rest of the 46th (North Midland) Division to Luton. In November they moved again to Saffron Walden, where they completed their training before crossing to France in March 1915.
