Description:From July 1942 all recruits came into the General Service Corps for six weeks training at a Primary Training Centre (PTC). During the training they were given Personal Selection Tests to decide the Corps to which they were best suited. The men pictured here were part of the PTC that was at Whittington Barracks in 1947.
