Ravenhill County Primary School was situated on Talbot Road off Redbrook Lane on the site now occupied by Brereton Hayes Community Primary School and Brereton Library (in 2026). The school opened in 1955 with Miss Elizabeth Stubbs as Headmistress. It closed in 2004 together with the nearby Nursery Fields Primary School, both being replaced by the new Brereton Hayes School.
