Description:The Temple Garden was probably built in the 1830s for Charlotte Sparrow of Bishton Hall. The architect is unknown, but could be James Trubshaw of Little Haywood, and it was complete by 1838 when it was drawn by Thomas Peploe Wood. It consists of a Doric temple flanked by a long screen wall ending in small porches overlooking a low terrace.
