Description:A colour-tinted postcard photograph of a couple standing near weirs on the River Dove at Beresford Dale, on the Staffordshire-Derbyshire border.

This card was produced for The North Staffordshire Railway Co. by McCorquodale & Co. Ltd., who specialised in producing advertising material for transport companies. The nearest railway station for tourists would have been at Hartington. The card was posted from Stoke-on-Trent in 1906.
