Description:Church Lane at its junction with Mill Street, Stafford.

On the right the nearest timber-framed building No. 35, Mill Street. Attached to it is No. 10, Church Lane, known as the Old Sheriff's Office, which dates from the 15th century. Both of these remain (2026) and are Grade II listed buildings. Further along the houses have since been converted into shops, a dental practice and a hairdresser. In the background St Mary's church tower can be seen.
