Description:On the left on the corner with Mill Street is No. 37 Greengate Street, Dobson's tobacconist’s shop, which was founded by Arthur Dobson there around 1903. More recently, until 2025, the shop was occupied for many years by a Katherine House Hospice charity shop, which has since moved to larger premises at 6, Greengate Street. On the right is Harris’s shoe shop and next door there is a part view of the Dorothy Perkins shop, this was a national chain specialising in women’s fashion wear. Note the lights strung from the building across Mill Street and there are also lights on the right above Harris's shoe shop and Dorothy Perkins shop.
