Description:This was one of the Crabbery Street entrances to the mid-19th century St. John's Covered Market until it was demolished in the 1990's and The Guildhall Shopping Centre was built and a new indoor market created near the junction with Chapel Street.

The entrance has been boarded with smaller doors incorporated. On the right of the doorway 'No. 1' is inscribed. When the covered market was first built it was also used for military drill by the army volunteers and for concerts and balls. The shop to the right sells Chinese natural medicines.
