Description:Kingsley and Froghall Railway Station.

Opened in 1849 as Froghall Station, it was renamed as Kingsley and Froghall Railway Station in 1907. It was situated on the North Staffordshire Railway's (NSR) Churnet Valley branch near to the Caldon Canal's Froghall Wharf and the Thomas Bolton & Sons Ltd., copper works, which can be seen in the background.

The station was closed by British Rail in 1965, and these station buildings were soon to be demolished. Later as part of the rail line purchase by the newly formed rail preservation society 'The Churnet Valley Railway' in the 1970s, new station buildings in the NSR style were added around 2001 leading to the station's re-opening in 2003.
