Description:Gorsebrook House was used as the head office of the Electric Construction Company adjacent to their Bushbury Engineering Works on Stafford Road, Wolverhampton. Since demolished, it is now (2025) the site of Wolverhampton Science Park.

The Electric Construction Company (Limited) was formed in 1893 but the works buildings dated from eleven years earlier. The site extended to approximately 23 acres. Following a succession of takeovers the business closed in 1986 and the works were demolished in 1986.

A 1950 advertisement by the company stated: “it was the formerly the Manor House of an estate upon which our factory is built”.
