Description:This photograph was taken at Fradley by the junction of the Trent & Mersey and Coventry canals, the view is from the latter.

The group of attached buildings are Grade II listed dating from around the 1770s, (the Trent & Mersey canal opened in 1777 and the linking junction dates from 1790). To the left, a warehouse is now (2025) a marine services shop. In the centre, the white building is 'The Swan' public house, colloquially known as 'The Mucky Duck' and to the right, a cottage.
