Description:This view of County Road is largely unchanged since the photograph was taken in 1962.

The houses on the right are No.'s 11 – 6. On the extreme right there is a glimpse of the 1831 'Greyhound Inn' (No. 12). The Greyhound remains open (2025) after being saved from closure in 2023. The house with the projecting bays is 'Langley House'. Note the different types of television aerials which were necessary at the time to obtain the BBC and ITV channels.
