Description:This view was taken from the car park and yard area at the back of the Swan Hotel which fronts onto Greengate Street.

The building with the corrugated roof has since been demolished but the one to its left has been re-purposed by the hotel. In the background on the right the top of the tower of St. Chad's Church can be seen over the rooftops. Note the mixture of TV aerial designs which were necessary at the time.
