Description:A view of Park Lane, Chebsey with the photographer’s mini parked in the road.

On the left the furthest building is a pair of Grade II listed cottages, thought to be late 18th century and currently (2025) known as 'Park View' and next door is 'Chebsey Old Post Office', this probably operated as the village Post Office from the late19th century through to the late 20th century then being combined with a general store. The rendered building is also Grade II listed dating from around 1800.

In the foreground the pair of adjoining timber-framed cottages are also Grade II listed. 'Minnie’s Cottage' has some exposed Tudor timber framing and may have been originally a single storey. The nearer cottage has almost complete timber framing and may be Elizabethan. It was to be carefully restored around 1980.
