Description:Cottages at 32-36 Carter Street, Uttoxeter, the home of Francis Redfern and family during the 19th century. A sign above the door reads 'Redfern Cooper'. These houses were restored and became the home of Uttoxeter Heritage Centre, now (2024) Redfern's Cottage and Museum of Uttoxeter Life. A pen and watercolour drawing by Francis Redfern (1823-1895), cooper and historian of Uttoxeter.
