Description:During the second Cheese and Ale Festival held on 15 June 2015, there were cheese makers, breweries and local food producers who filled the Market Square in Stafford with a range products and a fine array of artisan food.
There were exhibitors, music, special ale brewed for the festival by local brewery Titanic, an alfresco bar open from 10am to 4pm. and top local chefs from the Staffordshire Chefs' Forum gave live cookery demonstrations in the cookery theatre marquee. Live music was provided by Irish band Blarney Stone, street theatre included a “Gordon Blur the juggling chef” and an opportunity to meet the festival mouse. Children could have their faces painted in “mouse theme”. In addition the Stafford Morris Men were on hand to add to the day and there was a rare opportunity to see one of a handful of Coopers left in the country practising the art of making traditional wooden barrels.
