Description:The house on the right dates from 1848 is now 'The Sycamores', situated on the corner of Hollow Lane and the Cheadle Road which runs across the bottom of the photograph. The buildings to the left of the house have since been demolished. Access to the Public Footpath to Basford Bridge can be seen to the right of the gate in the foreground. Two people can just be discerned at the front of the house.
