Description:Crowds at an agricultural implement sale held at W.S. Bagshaw & Sons auctioneers, Uttoxeter. Potential buyers study a hay tedder for sale. Greg Gagie (in the dark suit, nearest the camera) selling and Arthur Tideswell (in the white coat) on the book. The livestock market closed in 2001 at the time of the Foot and Mouth outbreak, and the buildings were demolished in 2006 and the site redeveloped.
