Description:The base of a stone medieval cross by drystone wall at Felthouse Common, south of Cheddleton. Still extant in 1982, the base was no longer present in 1999. It consisted of a square socket in an irregular base. The socket was 39cm by 37cm and 13cm deep. The base was 1.56m by 1.03m by 0.45m high on a hilltop adjacent to a track between Folly Lane to the Boat Inn, but inside a field.
