Description:A studio portrait of Jim Sutton of Cheddleton in the uniform of the Royal Artillery. He was born in Cheddleton on 2 April 1882 and lived at Babylon Row at the time. He married Louisa Sutton in 1939 and at the time was living at West View, Cheddleton and was employed as a beaterman at Brittain's paper mills. He died on 1 April 1952.
