Description:A postcard view of Manley Hall showing the entrance drive and porte cochere. In its early years it was known as Thickbroom Hall. The Hall was built for Admiral John Shawe Manley in 1833 in a castellated Tudor style designed by Thomas Trubshaw of Little Haywood. When the Manley family left in 1925 the house became Manley Hall Preparatory School for Boys. The school closed in 1958 and the hall was demolished in 1961.

This postcard was franked in Lichfield on 19 July 1932 and sent to an address in West Kensington, London.
