Description:The Manor is a large Georgian house owned throughout the 19th century by the Larman family. The family's Offley estate was sold under the will of the late John Gerard Heath Lander in 1918, but the Manor was bought by Vernon Lander. It was a hotel and guest house run by Mr and Mrs G.B. Tohey from 1939 until 1943, at which point the Landers sold it to Albert Collins, director of T.H. Collins & Sons Ltd., Hanley. who lived there until 1953. It was later purchased by Spencer C. Copeland in the mid 1960s. From 1984 until 1993 the Manor was a residential care home owned by Dennis Larman. In 1994 it was sold again and divided into private residential apartments.
