Description:The crew of Stafford Fire Brigade pictured outside the Fire Station on Mill Bank. Ernest Hector Haywood is fourth from right on the second row from the front. His father Alfred had been Chief Fire Officer for Stafford, but had retired in 1941. Stafford Fire Station moved from Mill Bank around 1971 to Lammascote Road until 1998 when it relocated to Hydrant Way. Please contact us if you recognise anyone else in the picture.
