Description:The Saracen's Head Inn, Bridge Street, Burton upon Trent. The landlady at the time was Harriett Terry and the building has been decorated to celebrate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee.
Harriett's late husband, George Terry (who had died in 1881 and was the previous landlord) had been a survivor of the Charge of the Light Brigade in 1854. He was formerly a cavalry sergeant and is buried at Stapenhill Cemetery. He was one of two survivors of the Charge of the Light Brigade who relocated to Burton after taking their Army pensions aged 41.
