Description:A delivery lorry at Barlow and Willday, coal merchants, Glascote road, Glascote, near Tamworth. Barlows shipped and moved coal in bulk whilst Willdays bagged and delivered coal.

This six wheeler Dodge bulk tipper for carrying coal was driven by Alfred John 'Jack' Wright who worked for Barlow's for a number of years. It was painted dark blue and was named 'Blue Prince'. All Barlow's trucks were kept in immaculate condition. Around 1960 Jack Wright started his own coal business with his son John in Brownhills and their first tipper truck was one bought from Barlows.
